William (Bill) Davis

Bill Davis is the founder and Senior Financial Advisor of Up North Wealth Advisors.  Over the past 20 plus years Bill has helped many families and individuals become more confident about their financial position.  His experiences as a business owner in three different industries brings a unique perspective to the world of investment planning.  

Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1983 from North Dakota State University and before becoming a financial advisor, he was the Dairy Director for the Department of Agriculture in North Dakota.  Over the past 30 years Bill has been in the concessioning business, serving local events along with being a partner for Walleye-On-A-Stick at the Minnesota State Fair.

Being one of eleven siblings has exposed Bill to a host of family dynamics and the tragedies of life, while his connection to land and cattle, as well as hunting and fishing has rooted him to the simple things.  He and his wife Nancy have 3 children and 13 grandchildren, and as Bill’s mother used to say “there’s always room for one more at the table”.
